About the Company's History
- Q.When was the Company established?
- We were established in June 1951 as the FUNAI SEWING MACHINE CO. (The company's name later changed to FUNAI LIGHT MACHINERY MFG. CO., LTD.) The transistor radio business was spun off in August 1961, giving rise to FUNAI ELECTRIC CO., LTD.

- Our stock listed on the Second Section of the Osaka Securities Exchange in February 1999. We listed on the First Sections of the Tokyo Stock Exchange and Osaka Securities Exchange in March 2000. (The Osaka Securities Exchange merged with the Tokyo Stock Exchange in July 2013.)
